はじめに·why this exists
I taught myself Japanese, which mostly meant juggling apps: a dictionary in one, a grammar reference in another, a translator in a third, and a deck I filled by copy-pasting between all of them, hours later at a laptop. Every one of those tools was good. None of them were in my pocket when I got stuck, and none of them explained anything. rikAI is what I wanted instead — the sentence in front of you, read and explained where you're standing.
